The story

Former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Cassius Mailula took to Instagram to share a snap of him stepping out a sleek Chevy.

Mailula looked as stylish as ever at Toronto FC's "All For One Reds Soirée" yesterday, an event that allows guests to mingle with the Toronto stars and support the MLSE Foundation (Sports charity organisation) and the club's "Change the Game" youth empowerment initiative.

Although the baller has struggled for minutes in the MLS for the Canadian outfit, he was all smiles at the event, where it looked like he arrived in a black Chevrolet Corvette.

It's not clear what model of the Corvette Mailula was riding in, but the modern version of the ride is valued between R1.2 million to R1.5 million.

The ride likely belongs to Toronto FC, as they have a partnership with the US car makers. Chevy have been working with Toronto FC as their vehicle partner since January, with clubs CF Montreal Impact and Vancouver Whitecaps also working with the iconic brand.
