Kaizer Chiefs defender Daniel Cardoso has added another tattoo to his collection, and the latest one is a touching tribute to his late father. Have you seen it?
The 28-year-old has been mourning the loss of his dad for several months now, and every chance he gets, he dedicates his performances to his father.
His goal against Ajax Cape Town at Athlone Stadium in February saw him point to the sky in remembrance of his dad, and now he has gone one step further to pay homage to the most influential figure in his life.
The tattoo is of a young boy carrying a ball towards a goalpost, with the jerseys No.4, No. 7 and No.17 hanging off the crossbar.
The boy in the ink work can be seen sporting the No. 49 on his back, the age at which Danny's father passed away, with Cardoso written on it.
This is an incredible memorial piece for his father and his loved ones, and we couldn't help but get emotional when seeing it.
