The story
Social media has been abuzz since Pirates TV released the episodes of their candid "The Changeroom" series, which follows the Sea Robber during the second half of the 2023/24 season.
The series offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look inside the club's changeroom, exploring the various emotions, challenges and of course, moments of triumph at the Soweto giants.
There were plenty of talking points drawn from the four-part series, with Thembinkosi Lorch's feud with Deon Hotto being spoken about heavily.
Fullback Paseka Mako opened up about how his former teammate Lorch and the Namibian star just did not see eye-to-eye and how it impacted the team on the field of play.
Apparently, some players did not like Hotto, due to him being used regularly by Jose Riveiro week-in week-out, in different positions.

Other dramatic moments from the series came from Thapelo Xoki's change room argument with Patrick Maswanganyi during half-time when Orlando Pirates decimated Golden Arrows, 7-1.
During that Arrows match at Orlando Stadium, with Pirates leading 3-0 at half-time, Xoki and Maswanganyi went at it as soon as they sat down for their breather.Xoki expressed doubts about Maswanganyi's willingness to accept feedback, implying that the 26-year-old was resistant to advice, while "Tito" clapped back sharply, intensifying the confrontation to the point where the two nearly came to blows.

Experienced campaigner, Kermit Erasmus, poured his heart out on the series and suggested that he doesn't get the credit he deserves.
Erasmus only managed five goals and four assists in a rather underwhelming second stint at the Sea Robbers, walking away with four cup winners medals from both the MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup.
"I came to this club, and I sacrificed, if you're speaking about money… I sacrificed close to 50% of my salary to come here.
"I give everything for this club. When I arrived, the team was struggling. I'm not saying that I'm an individual that can change everything but with my winning mentality, I can sure contribute to affect things in the right direction. And when I arrived, I believe that's what I've done up until I was not allowed to do that anymore, which was obviously the beginning of this year. I just feel that there is no respect in the way things have went, more so in the way I have done things for my career and for this club.
"I am not saying the club has not done anything for me," said the former Orlando Pirates star, who was released by the club last month.
"I am speaking about me as an individual playing football in the country. I can speak a lot on past players. I like to speak a lot about colour also, I don't want to be a racist about it or anything, but I know that I am coloured. I've seen it happen to past players before. I make an example of Daine Klate [former Orlando Pirates winger]. One of the most decorated coloured players in this country. But where is the acknowledgement in the industry of football for what he has contributed. One of the most decorated players for Orlando Pirates. But he is not recognised," concluded Erasmus.
