The story

Newly appointed TS Galaxy DStv Diski Challenge head coach, Bernard Parker gave youngsters Shandre Campbell and Donay Jansen their flowers in separate Instagram appreciation posts.

Parker took to Instagram to share his well wishes to both Campbell and Jansen for the upcoming 2024/25 season, with the youngsters making that next step in their careers.

Teenage sensation Shandre Campbell yesterday, completed a major transfer to Belgium league champions Club Brugge KV after a breakthrough season at SuperSport United under the tutelage of legendary coach, Gavin Hunt.

Campbell once revealed that his family shares a close relationship with the former Kaizer Chiefs striker, and that he took plenty of inspiration from "Die Hond" growing up through the SuperSport United youth system.

Jansen, who made his debut for the Amakhosi senior team last season against Polokwane City, seems to have a close relationship with Parker, as the legend shared a host of throwback snaps of him with the young Chiefs talent.

Parker's photo dump featured images of him and Jansen in the former's car and the two of them at Naturena. Another snap sees both Campbell and Jansen pictured together, with a few blurry images of the 21-year-old and Parker in what appear to be family gatherings.

"Dreams do come true. Good luck for the new season with the senior team. Live your dream to the fullest," wrote Parker in captioning his IG post.

Jansen responded: "Thank you so much for everything Uncle Toga. I'm really thankful for this opportunity, my legend."
