China is a country on the rise in football, so it's no surprise that they have the world's largest football academy, which is valued at R2.5 billion!

In recent seasons, the Chinese Super League has grown to become a league recognised for their star quality, with big-name players such Carlos Tevez, Oscar and Hulk now plying their trade in the country!
It is at Guangzhou Evergrande, coached by former Chelsea and Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, that you will find the world's largest academy structure in football, with the club's youth system boasting 50 football pitches.
About 2 500 students are believed to attend the academy in China, which has 24 Spanish coaches, who have come from a partnership with Real Madrid, working at the grounds.
It is believed that China president Xi Jinping hopes that the largest football school in the world will hopefully win the country a FIFA World Cup in the future.
