The Reds are en route to winning another Premier League title, and while things on the pitch seem to be clicking, at an administrative level, the situation is seemingly not as great. Spearheading their English title charge this season are Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Salah, but all three will see their current contracts expire at the end of the season.
It is understood that Van Dijk and the Merseyside outfit are keen on hashing out the details of an extension, with both parties believed to be eager to continue their relationship. The same is not true for their academy graduate Alexander-Arnold, however, as he is expected to sign with Real Madrid ahead of the 2025/26 season.
This late into the season, the player with the most ambiguous situation remains the Egyptian winger. The 32-year-old has been in remarkable form this campaign, and following his comments earlier in the season, it seemed as though he may have been tempted by possible offers from Al-Hilal, Paris Saint-Germain, or FC Barcelona.
