On Monday evening, Amajimbos completed a miraculous come from behind victory against their north African contemporaries to win their first match at the under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Vele Khumalo's charges opened the scoring through Simphiwe Mlondo as early as the first minute of the match, but the young Pharaohs would turn the game on its head when they scored three consecutive goals through Hamza Abdelkarim and Anaas Roshdi.

However, two Neo Bohloko penalties before halftime levelled matters at 3-3 going into the break. The second half would be less of a goal fest as both team's squandered chances to take the lead throughout the last 45 minutes, but ultimately it was South Africa's talisman Emile Witbooi who would bag the winning goal in the 71st minute.

Roc Nation client Witbooi continues to impress with another top performance while Bohloko introduced himself on the biggest stage with a brace. This publication understands that Bohloko is due to join Jay Z's agency after the under 17 tournament comes to an end.

Khumalo's men now go ahead of Burkina Faso to top group B. Egypt's head coach Ahmed Abou Abdelaziz Abdalla claimed that he would go over the footage of their defeat to South Africa, with the intention of winning their next two matches against the Burkinabe and Cameroon.

"The upcoming matches are difficult, but we will look for how to achieve victory in the matches against Burkina Faso and Cameroon," said Abdelaziz Abdalla as per Kooora.

"I will hold a session with the players to explain and correct some of the mistakes that occurred in the match against South Africa.

"We have no choice but to win, and we will do our best to secure the three points and achieve a positive result."
