After joining the Natal Rich Boyz at the start of the season following his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns, Kutumela has struggled for regular game time.
According to sources, the 31-year-old's representatives have been exploring opportunities in other African leagues or the Middle East.
With limited playing time at Richards Bay, a move abroad could offer Kutumela a fresh start and a chance to reignite his career.
In the last 10 league matches for Bay, Kutumela has featured only three times as a substitute, including a brief three-minute appearance in the team's recent 2-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

There's also a possibility of a move to the Middle East," said the source.
