The story
In a wholesome full circle moment, the Masandawana baller was finally able to meet a supporter who won his heart after Downs' draw against Golden Arrows in Hammarsdale two weeks ago.
Ribeiro got onto the scoresheet in that encounter from the penalty spot and after the full-time whistle was blown, a toddler was captured shouting the 26-year-old's name to try and get his attention.
Sundowns fan Bhekithemba Gumbi went viral on TikTok for the video of his baby calling for Ribeiro, which resulted in the Brazilian promising to organise a meeting with his adoring supporter.

After Sundowns' 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Sunday, Ribeiro was able to find something to smile about as he was able to meet the passionate toddler after the game.
"Very good to see you and your family. Thanks again for your affection," wrote Ribeiro on Instagram, with the baby Downs fan in full kit, seated on his lap in the changeroom.
The hot favourite for the PSL Player of the Year accolade, who boasts a healthy 20-goal contribution in the Betway Premiership so far this season, received love from Bongani Zungu, Teboho Mokoena and his club's IG page for his gesture.
