Vandala Offers To Be Considered Amid Downs Link

Vandala Offers To Be Considered Amid Downs Link

Sekhukhune United FC could be open to listening to offers for winger Mcedi Vandala, amid growing speculation about his future, the Siya crew has been reliably informed.

This follows reports that reigning league champions Mamelodi Sundowns have shown interest in the 30-year-old attacker.

Khanye: I Don't Think Cele's With A Coach Who Believes In Ball-Playing

The relationship between Sekhukhune and Sundowns has strengthened in recent seasons, with Sekhukhune previously selling Asekho Tiwani to the Brazilians.

Also, the likes of Sipho Mbule and Katlego Mohamme are currently part of Sekhukhune's squad, having previously played for Sundowns.

This ongoing exchange of talent between the two clubs suggests a potential deal for Vandala could be on the cards.

Vandala, who is currently on loan at Magesi FC, has been a standout performer since joining in January, playing a key role in their battle to retain their Betway Premiership status.

The skilful winger has netted four goals plus one assist this season.

The player's representative, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, previously confirmed that Sundowns had inquired about his availability, hinting at a potential move once his loan spell concludes.

With Sekhukhune potentially open to offers, the decision now rests on whether Vandala will return to his parent club or make a high-profile move to Sundowns.

Vandala's performances at Magesi have certainly put him in the spotlight, and a transfer to the defending champions would mark a significant step in his career.

"The club will be willing to listen to offers for him. They are not a club that stands in a player's way to make progress in his career," said the source.
