Pirates To Consider Pitso If Riveiro Leaves?

Pirates To Consider Pitso If Riveiro Leaves?

Insiders have revealed to the Siya crew that Mosimane has been suggested internally as a possible successor to Riveiro, should the Spaniard depart. The news comes as no surprise, considering that Mosimane is one of the best coaches in PSL history and as a serial winner, could elevate Bucs even further.

"The main issue is not about the goodness of the new contract at all. It's about the coach missing his family. It's also not about the interest in Europe, no. It's all about his family, so it becomes very hard for him to have been away for three years and that's what threatens the talks about a new contract. Then the club is looking at a possible replacement in case it doesn't work," the second source stated.

Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
