After making his first-team debut this past weekend, Club Brugge has now made a major decision regarding Shandre Campbell ahead of their massive UEFA Champions League encounter.

This past weekend, the Amajita star made his first-ever appearance for the Belgian giants in a 2-2 draw against Sint-Truiden.
The teenage sensation has been in phenomenal form for the club's second-division side, Club NXT, during the early part of the 2024/25 campaign, scoring six goals and providing one assist in the 14 games he played for them.
Those performances were rewarded earlier this month as it was revealed that the Johannesburg native had earned himself a call-up to Nicky Hayen's side. He has been spending the last few weeks training with the Blue and Black, but this past Saturday, Campbell got a five-minute runout in the Jupiler Pro League.
Brugge's next match comes in the Champions League, where they will be hoping for another positive result in the second leg of their play-off knockout clash against Atalanta after their first-leg 2-1 win.
While the Belgian outfit have taken the advantage in their European clash, Campbell will not be part of the matchday squad looking to complete their mission in Bergamo.

Brugge released their official matchday squad for the Tuesday night match-up, and the South African was not included, meaning that the prolific winger will have to wait a bit longer to make his debut in Europe's premier club competition.
