When players are sent out on loan, the aim is to ensure they get regular game time and enhance their chances of returning to their parent club to fight for a place in the team.
Two players loaned out by Kaizer Chiefs before the start of the season have had a difficult time at the clubs they joined. Sabelo Radebe and Donay Jansen, both products of Amakhosi, have endured a difficult period away from Naturena, with little game time under their belts.

Radebe, who had been struggling to break into Amakhosi's matchday squad two seasons after promotion, joined Richards Bay and has not been able to make most of the chances given to him.
The 25-year-old former Diski Challenge captain has made three appearances for the Natal Rich Boyz, all as a substitute. In total, he has played about 20 minutes of football this season.
He is expected to return to Naturena once the loan deal comes to an end, but his Chiefs future is uncertain, with the possibility of a permanent exit.
Jansen, who was recently out with flu, has not been able to get into the matchday squad regularly since joining SuperSport United for the season.

The Siya crew understands that Chiefs still see a future for him and he looks set to be part of the squad next season, to add to coach Nasreddine Nabi's options. Like Radebe, he has only made three appearances, all as a substitute.
At 21, he has age on his side and it's understood that Amakhosi will give him an opportunity to play.
