The story!
Tuesday, Kaizer Chiefs celebrated their 55th year of existence since forming in Phefeni, Orlando West, Soweto back in 1970.
It's been a week of positive vibes and jubilation at Naturena this week, despite the club's current inconsistent form that sees them languishing in seventh on the league table, with 15 points after 11 games.
Nasreddine Nabi's men kicked off the new year on a negative note after succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City away from home.
The club plans to not only bounce back to celebrate its legacy with supporters for their upcoming Betway Premiership fixture against Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday night, slashing ticket prices down to R30 each, for what the club has described as an "unmissable occasion" at the FNB Stadium.
On Chiefs' various social media platforms, they shared footage of the players taking time to share birthday messages to the club, with the rest of club staff being treated to cake along with their employers and head coach, Nabi.
