The story 

Tau received a warm reception worthy of a superstar on his return to Mzansi last week to represent Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward was well embraced by the Happy People when Al Ahly played out a goalless draw in their second Group C match against Orlando Pirates.

Although Tau wasn't able to impact the game as a substitute, the 30-year-old was showered with love from both Pirates fans and players as if he was a club legend!

The wholesome scenes saw Tau sharing a post-match moment with his former teammate Paseka Mako, while Relebohile Mofokeng and Sipho Chaine also exchanged pleasantries with the Bafana attacker.

Prior to Saturday's heavyweight encounter, Tau linked up with a close friend of his, grassroots football coach Siya Maloka to hand over his signed Al Ahly home jersey.
