Bafana Bafana will have all to play for in the next Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers as they will be aiming to seal qualification for next year's tournament in Morocco, with the hope of also improving their position in the rankings.
With FIFA having announced the latest world rankings, Bafana have dropped by one place in the world to 60th, while they remain 11th in Africa.

In the recent FIFA break, Bafana managed to collect four points in their two AFCON qualifiers against Congo, having defeated them 5-0 in the home match in Gqeberha, with the away clash in Brazzaville ending in a 1-1 draw.
Having managed to remain unbeaten in their last 12 matches, Bafana will hope to keep on improving under Hugo Broos, with the aim of entering the Top 10 on the continent in the upcoming fixtures.
The last time South Africa had lost a game was on penalties against Nigeria in the AFCON semi-finals earlier this year.

For the current rankings in Africa, Morocco remain the highest-ranked nation and are followed by Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria and Algeria respectively, in completing the top five.
In their next two fixtures which are scheduled for next month, South Africa will face Uganda away, as well as South Sudan at home in a match that could take place in Cape Town, according to well-placed Siya sources.
