Having officially joined Sundowns for the beginning of the 2022/23 season from Ethiopia Bunna, Nasir's progress slowed down after a career-threatening injury during that campaign.
The 24-year-old Ethiopian international took long to recover, which led to the Brazilians moving on by using his foreign spot in the squad.
As earlier confirmed by Downs coach Manqoba Mngqithi to the media earlier in the season that the attacker was at SuperSport, his signing has now been confirmed by the Tshwane giants.

In his Downs career Nasir has played 18 matches across all competitions and scored four goals.
He joins Tashreeq Morris among the latest signings for SuperSport who are desperate for goals after scoring just once in five league matches so far this season, with the team sitting in 13th place on the Betway Premiership log.
