Kyle Walker has emerged as the latest target for the Saudi Pro League, with reportedly Al Ahli keen to bring the England international on board next season, potentially reuniting him with former City and England teammates.
Al Ahli, coached by Mosimane between 2022 and 2023, are said to have identified Walker as their primary target, especially as the City captain will have just 12 months remaining on his contract next season.
The 34-year-old recently extended his deal in September 2023, after considering a move to Bayern Munich.
The Saudi outfit has already welcomed familiar faces, including their marquee signing Ivan Toney, who made a £40 million (R920 million) switch from Brentford in August.
Should he join the Saudi outfit, Walker would reunite with former club teammate Riyad Mahrez, while other notable ex-Premier League stars feature for the side in Roberto Firmino and Edouard Mendy.
Reports suggest City would be amenable to Walker's departure should he express a desire to leave.
With young talent Rico Lewis making strides and securing a spot in Pep Guardiola's first team, Walker has had time to recover after the 2024 UEFA European Championship.
It is understood that City would seek a fee of £20 million (R460 million) to part ways with their captain, who has been instrumental in the club's success as they chase a fifth consecutive Premier League title.
