A local football agent has slammed Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi on what he terms as a snub on the goalkeeper coach he had offered to be part of the Soweto giants.
As part of the new-look technical team for Chiefs under Nabi, the club appointed Ilyes Mzoughi as the goalkeeper coach taking over from veteran German keeper trainer Rainer Dinkelacker and Aubrey Mathibe who worked with the shot-stoppers in Naturena last season.

According to football agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi from Rush Hour Sports Management, there had allegedly been a verbal agreement between him and Nabi for Brazilian coach Milton Nienov to be considered for the goalkeeper trainer role at Amakhosi.
As indicated by Mulovhedzi, talks were held also with Nabi and Nienov who is no stranger to the PSL, for him to be part of the technical team for the Glamour Boys.
Nienov previously worked with Nabi at Tanzanian giants Young Africans where he served as a goalkeeper coach between January 2022 and June 2023.
In Mzansi, the 56-year-old who holds a UEFA Pro License, previously had spells with Free State Stars, Polokwane City and Golden Arrows respectively and was lauded for his high work-rate and meticulous planning of the sessions to improve goalkeepers at the clubs.
"Milton Nienov, who worked and won cups with Nabi, has secured a job in Sudan at Al-Merrikh SC after being snubbed by coach Nabi when he moved to Kaizer Chiefs," said Mulovhedzi, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"I spoke to Nabi (about Nienov) and he (Nienov) also spoke to Nabi and he agreed that he would work with him when the Chiefs move materialised. But to our surprise, Nabi decided to take another goalkeeper coach," added the representative.
"Coach Nienov and his family are big fans of Kaizer Chiefs, and the coach told me that it's his dream to work for Kaizer Chiefs one day," concluded Mulovhedzi.
Chiefs were contacted on the matter by Soccer Laduma, but at the time of publishing there had been no reply to the Siya crew's enquiry.
