With today being the last day clubs in England can sign players until January, teams continue to scramble to conclude business for the first half of the 2024/25 campaign.
According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, Mikel Arteta's Gunners have agreed to sign goalkeeper Neto from Bournemouth.
The 35-year-old Brazilian is expected to join Arsenal on loan as back-up for David Raya, with English shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale reportedly closing in on a move to Southampton.
Also in England, Chelsea are believed to have approached Napoli with a view to submitting an official proposal to sign Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are looking to sign the 25-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy.
Osimhen does have another option in Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia, although it is claimed he will only take his career to the Middle East should Chelsea fail to strike an agreement with Napoli.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are likely to confirm two new deals before the window slams shut on Friday night.
The Red Devils have reportedly already secured the signatures of Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte and Mali teenager Sekou Kone.
There is also set to be a high-profile departure at Old Trafford after Scott McTominay was pictured arriving in Napoli on Thursday, although Jadon Sancho's future is also one to watch.
