Davids’ Heartfelt Message: 'I Move On To A New Chapter'

Fadlu Davids has penned an emotional letter confirming the latest developments in his career.

Following his success in Morocco where he worked under former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer as they won the Botola Pro 1 and Throne Cup respectively, Davids has bid farewell to the Raja family on his way to take up a job at Simba SC in Tanzania as their head coach.

The former Maritzburg United coach has penned an emotional letter which he posted on his official Instagram account confirming his exit from the Moroccan giants.

Dear Rajawi Family

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from this incredible club after a record-breaking season. It's been a privilege to have my hand in leading the team to unprecedented success and achieving milestones that will forever be etched in the history books: Undefeated League Champions and Conquering the Coupe du Trône.

I thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and dedication throughout this unforgettable journey. Your passion and belief in the team have been the driving force behind our triumphs on the field.

I thank the President, my brother Josef Zinnbauer, all the Raja Board members, fantastic players, support staff, and most of all the incredible Ultras - you are my family for life. I leave with a sense of pride and gratitude for the opportunity to work with such talented players, staff and fans. I will always carry a piece of Raja in my heart.

As I move on to a new chapter in my coaching career, I take with me the memories we have created together and the bond we have formed as the Raja Football Family.

I am confident that the future of Raja is bright and that the foundations we have laid together will continue to flourish in the seasons to come.

Thank you once again for everything. Farewell, and may our paths cross again in the world of football.

Yours in football,

Coach Fadlu Davids
