The story
Kaizer Chiefs wrapped up their DStv Premiership campaign with a disappointing 2-0 defeat against bottom-placed Cape Town Spurs on Saturday.
This result saw the Soweto Giants fall short of the top eight, marking their worst-ever finish. Chiefs ended the season in 10th place, a historic low for the team with over half a century of professional football in South Africa, their previous lowest finish was ninth.
The Glamour Boys have won just two league games this calendar year (P14 W2 D6 L6), garnering the fewest points of all teams in the league this year with a mere 12.
Unsurprisingly, fans took to social media to express their displeasure of their team's efforts this season, with Chiefs' 12th league loss of the season enticing many to troll the men from Naturena.
