The story
Things got heated quickly after the full-time whistle at the Mbombela Stadium in TS Galaxy's thrilling encounter with champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns edged closer to Invincible status with a 1-1 draw against the Rockets, an encounter that seemed to be on a knife-edge from the first 20 minutes.
Rulani Mokwena's squad aims to etch their name in South African football history by completing the season undefeated, a feat never achieved before in the country and that unbeaten run was under threat.
Galaxy took the lead in the 78th-minute through Puso Dithejane, with Peter Shalulile equalising just moments later to restore parity.
After the full-time whistle, things got heated between Galaxy boss, Sead Ramovic and a member of Mamelodi Sundowns' technical staff nearly coming to blows:

Both Rulani and Ramovic had some fiery words in their post-match interviews. The former calling the match the worst game of football he's ever been involved in from a lot of aspects, while the latter goaded the Sundowns boss further by suggesting he should further is coaching qualifications and maybe sign Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to be able to beat his team.
They two coaches seemed to have exchanged some words from afar after their post-match interviews, with the police having to separate members of both teams.

Here's how the fans reacted the drama:
Sead Ramovic says they dominated the game with 29% ball possession. ?????????????? this plumber must go and join Kaizer Chiefs so that they can continue to suffer. #Sundowns pic.twitter.com/ssV7dY5iJA

I listened to what Sead Ramovic said last night and I don't have a problem with majority of it.
— Kubo Kubo (@Bantu_Kubo) May 22, 2024
I'm very much bothered by his comments on qualifications. I mean the level of CAF and UEFA football education can be debated, but to say it like that leaves a bad taste.
His biggest sin is not worshipping Sundowns and fearing them like your Gavin Hunts of this league.

Come "Sunshine" or rain, Sead Ramovic is clear!?? pic.twitter.com/6UXlOKHEni
If a quarter of the things Sead Ramovic said tonight were said by Rhulani….

I'm very happy how Coach Rhulani is not giving attention when given a mic to TS Galaxy Coach....he deserves non from him...he should be matured and wise to ask for a recipe in how to do this dominance thing ?? pic.twitter.com/4AVFPYRWqf

Sundowns fans crying about Saed Ramovic calling Rhulani names. Let's not forget, Pitso was the master of mind games verbal jabs. He'd often roast coaches players alike. Suddenly, it's a problem when the tables have turned??????? pic.twitter.com/UhUcauiutz

Sead is stubborn and he's never retreating!

This is Sundowns rival, going forward they must stop calling Chiefs or Pirates their rivals pic.twitter.com/Wy1GflTPHe

The El Clasico was so fiery that players didn't even have good relations in national team..
Sead and Rulani remind me of that time.. Difference is Sead has no budget, Rulani has everything one can wish for on continent
??????I wish this can happen each and every week??????

The PSL is a disgrace. This has been brewing for some time. They sat of the sidelines like all of us and watched it unfold. What a mockery to Sponsors. These coaches especially these 2 are a pair of clowns. They should be punished for this. Nxa!!

We need more to teams who are going to play with a purpose v Sundowns
— ????AFCON 2023 BRONZE MEDALIST??????? (@KB_Ramasimong) May 21, 2024
The intensity and aggression is what they not used to.... Remember Yanga and Esperance also ruffled feathers
Instead of teams just going there to be defeated
Them: TS Galaxy might end Mamelodi Sundowns unbeaten run.
