Mamelodi Sundowns have secured a seventh successive DStv Premiership title after they thumped 10-man Kaizer Chiefs 5-1, securing the league with six games to go.
It's Masandawana's 17th league crown overall and the Tshwane giants will be looking to end the season unbeaten in the Premiership.
Disaster struck the Soweto giants 19 minutes into the match when defender Given Msimango brought down Lucas Ribeiro on a counter attack and was shown a straight red card, for denying what the referee deemed as a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
The Brazilians weren't keen to delay their celebrations and keep the champagne on ice with a second-half blitz, with goals coming from Matias Esquivel, Lucas Ribeiro Costa, Thembinkosi Lorch and a brace from Man of the Match, Tashreeq Matthews.
Although Mduduzi Shabalala offered the Glamour Boys a mere consolation from the penalty spot, it was a crushing defeat that summed up a disappointing campaign for Amakhosi.
