Former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye has commented on a coach that has been linked with Amakhosi.
With Cavin Johnson expected to vacate the coaching position at the Soweto giants after the club confirmed that he won't be retained as as their interim coach, Chiefs have been linked with several coaches, including Congolese mentor Florent Ibenge.

Ibenge is currently in charge of Al Hilal of Sudan but is understood to be willing to come to the PSL should an offer be made for his services.
But Khanye says Chiefs should look elsewhere in their search of a new coach as the team will be aiming for a better campaign next season.
"I am shocked if Kaizer Chiefs are going to go and chase that guy as their next coach. What does Florent Ibenge know about Chiefs? That is more like off ramping after another off ramp. A lot of bad things have happened when it comes to that club and a proper coach like Pitso Mosimane is what is needed there. Pitso is on a six-month contract there in Saudi Arabia and he should come back to the PSL once that is done. Chiefs should appoint Pitso even if it means he has to bring his entire technical team," said Khanye.

"If you talk about a guy like Florent Ibenge, there is a lot that will need to happen including him having to first familiarise himself with Chiefs and South African football. Pitso has played against Chiefs as a coach, he was a player in this country and then a coach, and he is one of the (most) successful coaches we have here. He is someone who can talk the same language as Bra K (Kaizer Motaung, Chiefs' chairman)," he said.
