The lanky shot stopper starred as Nigeria's Super Eagles managed a second-place finish at the 2023 African Cup of Nations, which has turned heads both locally and abroad as reported by the Siya crew.
Even prior to the tournament, Nwabali's eye-catching performances for the Chilli Boys had seen interest mount in his services.
But, as he officially returns to Gqeberha for duty under new co-coaches Thabo September and Kwanele Kopo, Nwabali says he is yet to receive an official offer for his services.
"I only see offers online," he told journalists at the Nedbank Cup last 16 draw in Randburg.
"To be honest, some of my friends send me screenshots to say, 'hey bro, this offer is coming' but to be honest, I haven't seen an offer on my table.
"When sometimes there are rumours, I wish that they can all come to pass but I haven't seen any offer."
Nwabali has conceded 14 goals and kept seven clean sheets in the 15 matches that he has played for Chippa United this season.
