Ronwen Williams gives back to Alma Mater

The reigning CAF Goalkeeper of the Year and the Golden Glove winner at the recent AFCON in the Ivory Coast, Ronwen Williams is still the man of the moment.

His AFCON heroics, helping Bafana to a bronze medal finish, may have taken Williams' reputation on the continent to new highs, but the Bafana captain still keeps his feet on the ground and understands the importance of giving back and inspiring the youth.

Williams visited his alma mater, Gelvandale Primary School, to donated R50 000, which is set to towards the school's sporting department.

"What a spectacular day today, having the Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams, come to our school to motivate our learners to reach for the stars and never give up on their dreams," shared Gelvandale's Facebook page.
