Royal AM's chairman was substituted on in his club's 1-0 victory over the in-form Lamontville Golden Arrows.

Mpisane, who has captained Royal AM's DStv Diski Challenge side, showed his dazzling bit of skill when he was introduced in the dying moments of the encounter.

AM makes first league appearance of the season

Andile Mpisane was included in John Maduka's matchday squad to face Golden Arrows at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday evening in the DStv Premiership.

Much to the enjoyment of the Royal AM fans at the stadium, Mpisane was introduced in the 88th minute, replacing goal scorer Menzi Masuku in the club's narrow win over Arrows.

Donning the number 10 jersey, Andile barely had time to make an impact on the game but did manage to show a little Kasi Flava with a flamboyant reaction to a pass.

The 22-year-old has been hard at work to improve his condition and general shape during the off-season, shedding a decent amount of weight before the season got underway.

With his improved fitness levels, Mpisane might earn himself a little more game time under coach Maduka, who is under pressure to improve Thwihli Thwahla's results.

The Pietermaritzburg-based side still find themselves near the relegation spots, with their third win of the season on Tuesday taking them to 11 points and 14th place on the table.
