According to a report from the Daily Mail, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner could be in trouble after recently being photographed with an artist in Iran.
Fatima Hamimi had painted two portraits of the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar, and gifted them to him upon his arrival in the country in September.
Ronaldo's encounter with Hamimi has sparked furious outrage in Iran, according to Mundo Deportivo, which cited Iranian publications, who claim the Portugal captain gave her a hug and kissed her on the cheek.

The report goes on to say touching a woman in Iran is considered adultery, with Iranian lawyers having notified authorities of the incident.
Iranian network Sharq Emroz has reported that the Iranian justice system has acted swiftly, sentencing Ronaldo to 99 lashes the next time he visits Iran.
Ronaldo had travelled to the country for AFC Champions League duty with Al Nassr, and is not expected back in Iran in this group phase.

Marca, meanwhile, report that Ronaldo could be forgiven if his actions are not considered punishable by a judge, or if he shows remorse.
