After becoming La Furia Roja's youngest-ever goalscorer in a victory over Georgia last Friday, and the youngest player to represent his country, the La Masia academy graduate has made yet more history.
Yamal started as the 2010 FIFA World Cup champions thrashed Cyprus 6-0 in a 2024 UEFA European Championship qualifying match, playing 61 minutes before being replaced.
In doing so, the talented starlet became the youngest player to start a game for Spain at 16 years and 61 days old, according to Sport.
The winger has been a regular for the LALIGA champions so far this season, having played in all four of the Catalan club's matches since the campaign got underway.
