The Citizens bid farewell to captain Ilkay Gundogan at the beginning of the transfer window following his move to Barcelona, and are now without the services of talisman Kevin De Bruyne until the beginning of 2024 after he aggravated an existing hamstring injury at the start of this Premier League campaign.
