Nostalgic Mntambo visits old work

The company is now division of Polyoak Packaging and specialise in packaging for the dairy, juice and traditional beverage and beer markets.
Mntambo surprised his old colleagues during their break for a quick catch-up and went on to explain on his Instagram that he worked at this company for five years, starting as an 18-year-old.
"As always I was happy to meet my former colleagues and old friends (pun intended)… I was 18 years old at the time and we created so many memories through the struggles we endured," says Mntambo, who went on to explain his lunch routine when working there.
"It is true when they say your lows influence your highs. Funny to see that nothing has changed, our lunch time was an hour and we made sure we consume our food in the first 15 minutes so that we can be able to sleep on the for a good 45 minutes because when we go back ziyobuya," he added.

Since leaving the place, Mntambo has gone onto live out his dream as professional footballer in South Africa's top flight, including a stint at his beloved Orlando Pirates and playing for the national team.
The 34-year-old seems grateful for his time at Polyoak and what the place meant to his during a pivotal period of his life. He stated that he plans on making a documentary of his work before becoming a pro footballer.
"I am happy to know that they still follow my work, and they are proud that our paths once crossed. They are one of the people that keep me going to ever give up or drop the ball. One day, I hope to do a short story or a mini-Documentary of my time at Polyoak Packaging," concludes Mntambo.
