"uMlando" hitmaker Toss got candid about his football playing days at Kaizer Chiefs, where he was forced out due to a controversial incident.
Toss, who quit the beautiful game after leaving Amakhosi, also revealed that his official stage name came from playing football.

From Kaizer Chiefs to Amapiano
Young artist Toss, real name, Pholoso Masombuka sat down with radio personality, hip-hop DJ and podcast host Ms Cosmo to chat about his burgeoning music career and his days as a baller.
The Amapiano hitmaker revealed that he was a striker in Amakhosi's development system and was given the name "Toss" in his hometown Tsakane due to his goal scoring prowess.
Toss blew up in 2022 for his aforementioned hit single and the viral dance that accompanied it, where he'd move his hips and shuffle his feet while topless.

Judging by his physique, many of his fans have commented on his "soccer player" body and his fitness on-stage that's probably drawn from his endurance on the football pitch.
Chiefs parted ways with Toss during his days in their academy and he explained to Ms Cosmo why things didn't work out for him as a Glamour Boy.
"I misbehaved at a tournament," says Toss who confessed that he bought alcohol to celebrate a win.
"We had just won a match and I scored a hat-trick," he added, and explained that he was joined by teammates on his drinking mission before deciding to take it back to the team hotel, where they were caught by a coach.
