A Buccaneer's dream room
After an announcement of Marriott Bonvoy's multi-year deal to become the official accommodation partner of Pirates was made last year, a club-themed hotel room has been launched.
As mentioned on the club's website, the themed hotel rooms are "designed to give football enthusiasts a unique and immersive hospitality experience."
Interior designer, Latoyah Mei is the creative mastermind behind the room's design, she is founder of Lint Design House and was selected by the partnership parties to design the uniquely-themed room.

Mei's inspiration was to create a nostalgic atmosphere for the room to evoke a 'wow factor' feeling for fans and guests who book out the room are greeted with an iconic mural featuring the club's most legendary players, such as Marks Maponyane and Jomo Sono among others.
The room features symbolic black and white stripes showcasing the Soweto giant's proud heritage and success, with modern amenities and design elements.
