A Manchester City star has revealed why Pep Guardiola was furious with him and star striker Erling Haaland during the team's 2-1 win over Leeds United in the Premier League at the weekend.

Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as the Citizens continued their winning streak with a victory over the Whites at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
He could have had a third, however, but missed an 84th-minute penalty after Erling Haaland handed him the opportunity to secure a hat-trick.
A minute later, Leeds pulled a goal back from a counter-attack, leading Guardiola to visibly lose his cool on the sidelines before the Spaniard later insisted Haaland should have taken the kick from 12 yards.
Gundogan provided his version of events after the game.
"First, he [Guardiola] showed to Erling that he was quite mad about that, and then also he had a go at me," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"It is what it is, at the end. The moment Erling grabbed the ball, I was sure he was going to take it but he looked out for me.
"I checked with him a few times to make sure he was sure. He was certain to hand the ball to me, and I was confident to score.
"We should have scored a third. This is sometimes how it is that they go on the counter and score. But we dealt quite well with it and deserved the three points."
