With Carlo Ancelotti reportedly under increasing pressure at Real Madrid, Arsenal boss Mike Arteta has responded to rumours he could take charge of Los Blancos.

Arteta has led the Gunners to a fantastic 2022/23 campaign to date, with the north Londoners currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
The Basque native thus looks poised to lead the club to a first league championship since the 2003/04 season, when they finished the entire league campaign unbeaten.
The 40-year-old is not a stranger to lifting English league titles, either, having won two during his time as assistant coach to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. Arteta was Guardiola's understudy for just over three years but now finds himself challenging his former mentor for EPL honours.
It now appears that the former Gunners and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has garnered the attention of some of Europe's biggest teams.
First, Barcelona were said to be monitoring their academy graduate's managerial progress, and now reports have suggested that Real are interested in luring Arteta away from the Emirates Stadium.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Ancelotti is facing increasing pressure from Real president Florentino Perez, and that Arteta is a leading candidate to potentially take the reins at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Whether or not rumours surrounding the Italian tactician's future at the Santiago Bernabeu are true, however, the Arsenal manager has insisted he is uninterested in making the move to the Spanish capital.
"It's things that managers or players can't control what is written," the San Sebastian-born coach stated ahead of his side's round of 16 clash against Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night, as per the Daily Mirror.
