Riky Rick's Cotton Fest Goes Football With PUMA

Riky Rick's Cotton Fest Goes Football With PUMA

PUMA dropped an exciting football collection with Riky Rick's Cotton Fest with the campaign being shot at Mamelodi Sundowns' Chloorkop training base.

Check it out!

What's the story?

As the late creative icon Riky Rick always used to say "We never die, we multiply", his legacy and creative spirit continues to live on in this special capsule collection.

The creative direction of the collection, which dropped on 22 September, is steeped in 90's football culture, with the vintage-inspired PUMA tracksuit and collared black-and-white jersey.

Riky Rick's family and other figures close to the Cotton Fest community were part of the campaign and were hosted by PUMA's golden boys Mamelodi Sundowns.

After dropping a basketball collection before the actual festival in April this year, PUMA and the late Riky Rick designed something special for the football fans.

The collection features white and yellow soccer balls, 5-panel caps, A black and white vintage-style football jersey, black football shorts and a yellow tracksuit jacket.

The balls are priced at R300 with the other items ranging from R400 to R1 100.

The campaign video sees the models, along with music industry figures and Riky Rick's family posing for the camera in Sundowns' Chloorkop change rooms and the training grounds.

This collection was built to be as extraordinary and as memorable as the late Cotton Fest pioneer, who is surely smiling down on his family and friends looking as steezy as ever in what could be the coolest football/fashion offering of the year.
