The Brazilians beat rivals Kaizer Chiefs to land defender Terrence Mashego for a fee understood to be north of R10 million as reported in edition 1291 of Soccer Laduma.
Now, the Siya crew understands that the 24-year-old will be making his way to Chloorkop in the course of this week, where he is expected to meet his new teammates.
It is likely that he will be unveiled soon thereafter.
Mashego join fellow Downs new recruits Bongani Zungu, Marcello Allende, Abubeker Nasir, Ronwen Williams, Sipho Mbule as well as Abdelmounaim Boutouil, who is still awaiting his work permit.
