For devoted gamers who are itching to get a taste of a new FIFA game, they become subscribers to EA Play, where they can gain early access to the game in a 10-hour trial.
In previous years, the trial would go up more than a week before the release of a FIFA game.
This time, gamers will have to wait a lot closer to the game's release to get a taste of FIFA 23.
It's confirmed on EA Sports' website that the 10-hour trial for FIFA 23 is only available three days before the game's release on 30 September.
"If you pre-order FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition or have EA Play Pro, you can get in the game three days early starting on September 23, 2022. EA Play members can begin their 10-hour trial at this time, too," it says on the official helpline on EA's site.
This big change will surely annoy the devoted FIFA fans who've been given a taste of some exciting features in the game such as the new FUT Moments, FUT Heroes, and other notable upgrades.
Although the trial period has been significantly shortened, some fans are still lucky to get the opportunity to access FIFA 23 earlier than most.
