In light of allegations that he and a gang had tried to blackmail Paul Pogba into giving them €13 million (R220 million), the French superstar's brother has now accused the Juventus star of using witchcraft.
On Monday it emerged that French authorities were investigating accusations made by the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner claiming that he had been the victim of an attempted extortion.
The claims were made even more shocking when it was revealed that Pogba's brother Mathias was affiliated with the gang in question.
However, the former Manchester United star's older brother has now effectively refuted the claims made against him by his famous sibling, and stated that the deep-lying playmaker has been using witchcraft for years.
"... As a result, the only path to survival that I have is to unveil his lies and his deception," Mathias said in a lengthy video posted on social media, as per Get French Football News.
"That's why I confirmed his witchcraft because what matters here is not whether it works or whether you believe me or not, it is that it is malicious because these practices expect that you do bad things for their rituals with the will to harm.
"Also, I ask, didn't Paul deny resorting to witch doctors? Then why did he reveal that to the investigator: 'Pogba admitted to police to having paid a witch doctor in his entourage to protect himself from injuries'.
"Does protecting yourself from injuries require paying millions of euros to this witch for years (especially since it didn't work)?
"And the investigators and the tax authorities will be able to easily verify that with the Central Bank of London."
