Weekend Report For The Bafana Boss

Weekend Report For The Bafana Boss

Soccer-Laduma has tracked the progress of the current players abroad who are in or close to the Bafana Bafana setup, and put together our report from the weekend action for the Bafana boss.

Stars of the weekend include Darren Keet of KV Kortrijk, and Dean Furman of Doncaster Rovers.

Keet pulled off some superb stops, including saving a penalty as they played out a 1-1 draw with OH Leuven.

Turning to Twitter, he said, "Thanks to all out supporters for coming out and for all your kind words. It was a good team performance in the end."

Furman got on the scoresheet for Rovers but then earned his first red card after a second bookable offence, and his international teammate Bongani Khumalo had to help steady the ship as they saw out a 2-1 win over Yeovil Town.

Furman also voiced his opinion on Twitter after the game, saying, "What an eventful week it's been! Delighted with the much needed 3 points last night but gutted with my 1st career red!"
