Budding South African footballers will once again have the chance to earn themselves a foothold in the professional game as Nike looks to identify SA's best unsigned talent.

Nike's Most Wanted, previously known as the Nike Chance, will selected 40-60 players from 30 countries around the world who will then battle it out for a place in their academy in at St. George's Park in England.
Waylan Rooi was deemed good enough to make the step last season, while Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Reyaad Pieterse, got his break in the game having impressed in the tournament before landing a move to Shamrock Rovers in Ireland.
At the local trials, coachesand professional footballers will evaluate the participating talent based on their speed, technique, pitch intelligence and conditioning, going on to select a lucky few.

Since 2010, the program has provided training opportunities to thousands of talented footballers, with other graduates such as Tom Rogic (Glasgow Celtic), Bruno Covas (Santos F.C.), Dominik Boettcher (Hamburg), Abdul Waris (F.C. Spartak Moscow), and David "Titi" Accam (Helsingborgs IF) all going on to perform in some of Europe's biggest leagues.
