Kaizer Chiefs will be gunning for a spot in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals when they host Chippa United on Saturday evening at FNB Stadium.

Chiefs went through to the last 16 after thrashing ABC Motsepe League side Free Agents 4-0 courtesy of a brace by Pule Mmodi and other goals by Inacio Miguel and Ranga Chivaviro.

Amakhosi went on a rough patch of two winless games in the league before they returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win over Stellenbosch thanks to a lone goal by Makabi Lilepo.

The Glamour Boys will be without captain Yusuf Maart who is suspended.

Chippa, meanwhile, qualified for the last 16 after edging Golden Arrows 2-1 thanks to goals by Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Brandon Theron.

The Chilli Boys, however, lost two league games in their last three outings, the last which was a 1-0 defeat to TS Galaxy last Saturday.

Chippa will be without Sirgio Kammies due to suspension.
