The Siya crew can reveal that Orlando Pirates crowd pleaser, Thabo 'Jomo' Rakhale will be set to entertain the Bucs faithful for another three years should contract talks end successfully.
Siya sources have informed the crew that the Buccaneers have tabled a new three-year deal for the 25-year-old flamboyant midfielder and, should he sign on the dotted line, he will remain with the Soweto giants till 2018.
Since making his full return to the Bucs squad following loan spells with Sivutsa Stars and Polokwane City, Jomo has enthralled the Pirates faithful with his silky and deft touches, despite being a regular first choice member of the squad.
Following the recent exits of wingers, Daine Klate and Tlou Segolela in January as well as the uncertain future of Khethokwakhe Masuku, the twinkle-toed Vanderbijlpark-born left sided midfielder is expected to take over the mantle from former Pirates crowd pleasers such as Steve Lekoelea.
"Obviously he will sign. It's just a matter of agreeing on the terms, but he will be staying at the team for another three seasons. He has proven…," said a reliable source close to the Bucs camp.
