Soccer Laduma selects the six best and four worst performers, following Kaizer Chiefs' 0-0 draw with Polokwane City on Tuesday evening.
With a number of crucial saves, Khune was at his mercurial best and gave a performance worthy of acknowledgement.
Erick Mathoho: 7/10
Mathoho was back to his old self in this game. He did not put a step wrong and looked very solid alongside Gordinho and Cardoso.
Joseph Molangoane: 7.5/10
What a performance by Molongoane. He seems to be enjoying life at wing-back as he has put in a number of quality performances from that position.
Rodney Ramagalela: 6.5/10
Ramagalela gave the Chiefs defence a lot to think about. He also trouled Khune a few times and really pushed and worked hard for his team.
Ndivhuwo Ravhuhali: 6.5/10
Ravhuhali had a good and solid game and although at most times he seemed to be forced to defend, he managed and won most of his battles.
Hendrick Ekstein: 6.5/10
The midfielder put in yet another fantastic performance but his poor finishing was quite evident in the game. Great shift from him though as he created exciting attacking moments for his side.
Worst:
Thabiso Semenya: 4.5/10
The full-back was having a hard time dealing with Tshabalala. Earned an early yellow card and possibly could have been as worse as a red if the referee was not too lenient.
Bernard Parker: 5/10
The veteran forward has been having a good run coming into this game. He was unfortunately not as effective today and hardly bothered the Polokwane City defence.
Salulani Phiri: 4.5/10
Phiri was struggling to keep up with the pace and trickery of Ekstein and found himself late in most challenges where he should have protected the defence.
Walter Maponyane: 5/10
Although being fairly adjusted to the pace of the game, Maponyane was often pinned back and did not offer much of an outlet for his team.
