The PFA Awards will be held in London on Sunday, but this year's winner for the prestigious Player of the Year award seems to have already been leaked, according to the Daily Mail.
The English publication has claimed that Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk follows his teammate Salah after being voted as best player of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign by his fellow professionals.
The Dutchman can look back at a glorious season, during which his team has kept 19 clean sheets and lost just one game so far.
Van Dijk and his Liverpool teammates will hope to crown their campaign with the Premier League title, but need table-toppers Manchester City to slip up in their last three fixtures against Burnley, Leicester City and Brighton Hove Albion, while the Reds cannot afford to give points away against Huddersfield, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

If confirmed as the PFA Player of the Year, Van Dijk will have beaten competition from Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling, Sadio Mane, Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero, who were the other names on the shortlist for the award.
