Pitso Mosimane has given yet another update on his contract talks with Mamelodi Sundowns, reiterating that he remains committed to a long-term future at Chloorkop.
As things stand, the 55-year-old has not agreed new terms at the club beyond this season, which is when his current contract will expire.
Mosimane has also been adamant in the past that the delay has got zero to do with money, but principles and a "legacy" for his family.
Following Sundowns' elimination from the CAF Champions League quarterfinals by Al Ahly on Saturday afternoon, the coach was asked if there were any new developments.
"It's a tough one that one. Remember earlier I said that 80 percent of the contract has been agreed? So I have complied to 100 percent – to what Sundowns wanted," he said.
"I am waiting for Sundowns now. You can ask Sundowns. I have long complied – the ball is in Sundowns' court not in my court. There's no more 'what's left'. I don't know, you must ask Sundowns. I am here, I want to be here and I hope I will be here. It's not me, don't put it on me. I am sorted now, I have complied with everything, don't ask me. It's on the other side, not my side. I am a professional coach, I behave as if I am here."
