'Steve, Please Do The Noble Thing'

'Steve, Please Do The Noble Thing'

Following their 3-0 loss to Chippa United on the weekend, Kaizer Chiefs fans and Supporters Club members continue to share their views regarding the outcome of this clash.

Amakhosi fan khosibybirth548 has once again expressed himself, pleading with the club's head coach, Steve Komphela, to surrender and step down from his position.

"Steve says he won't resign for it would be like running away from responsibility. Again he is using his spin to play with our minds. Resigning isn't all about running away, but taking responsibility by acknowledging that he has failed.

"His staying on as coach should be viewed as greed and is driven by pride and personal interest at the expense of the club. Eric Tinkler and Muhsin Ertugral took responsibility during their careers, while Komphela is certain that his English, which he continues to play with, makes him the most intelligent person in football.

"Steve, please do the noble thing and resign. The truth is that with Sundowns and Maritzburg still in the Nedbank Cup, our chances aren't good for as long as you remain at the helm. And failure to lift the cup could land you in bigger trouble, while the majority of the Amakhosi supporters could suffer heart attacks. Please save us."
