The Soweto Derby is the pick of the DStv Premiership fixtures this weekend and Amakhosi walk into it reeling from a 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows.
Former Glamour Boy, Siphiwe Mkhonza said that Chiefs' current run of inconsistent results will pass. He also mentioned that people shouldn't be fooled by recent results, with Pirates walking into the clash at the back of a win over Maritzburg United.
The "Don't Be Fooled, Things Always Change In The Soweto Derby" story, sees Mkhonza state that form is irrelevant going into a Soweto Derby.
Here's how the readers reacted to his comments:
"Mkhonza will be crying come end of 90 minutes on Saturday," says thabotouchme.
"This is a wishful thinking but hey, no soldier ever goes to war with a negative mentality, which is of defeat, but hopes to conquer by all means!" says mosesndlalane13.
"Enjoy the underdog tag.. thats why they lost their game before the Derby, so they can be called the underdog... They're underdogs, so Pirates should go to Arows to ask them how to be an underdog team," says malandle35.
"Beware of the Trojan horse Buccaneers, because Chiefs' form will be your downfall," says userThautha.
