Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Bafana Bafana striker Zakhele Lepasa could be set for a contract extension at Orlando Pirates according to a Siya crew source.

Lepasa's current deal expires next June, and it appears that Pirates want to offer the 26-year-old a new three-year deal that'll keep him at the Soweto giants until 2027.

The Siya source revealed that talks began during Lepasa's loan spell at SuperSport, while also pointing out that the striker's form under Hugo Broos for Bafana Bafana might've triggered the Sea Robbers to move fast with a new deal.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Offer Lepasa New Contract?" story:

"Give the lad a five-year deal once and for all. Tie him down and pay him, then you will see greater performances from him, period," says user949915.

"He must start giving back to the club now by scoring goals because next season, Radioman [Radiopane] might come back," says tm194441.

"Good one Bucs," approves thamivutisanikhosa.

"He is already 26. It is now time for him to fulfil his potential," says msanisto.

"He is he still young. It's a good idea to keep him. He is a good player," says Bra Zee.

"He is not young anymore. He is 26, not a teenager. He must deliver the goals and play as a team member. He must deliver. He can't be young forever. He still rushes things sometimes. He needs to have composure," replies nicholusmaswikaneng.

"So, in our country you are a young star at 25, 26? We have a problem indeed. We no longer have young Lekoelea, Pule's, Mabalane's, and Leremi's doing well at 16, 17, 18. Funny that at 30, you are already regarded over the hill," replies Vha Musanda Cosmos na Bucs.

Bucs head coach Jose Riveiro has made a plea after Pirates won their first home game of the season, 4-2 against Royal AM on Tuesday evening.

Riveiro would like to see more supporters at the stadium to cheer his troops on. He wants the club to capitalize on the unique fanbase.

With the Buccaneers scoring four on Tuesday, with Lepasa bagging a brace, Riveiro hopes it'll entice more bums on seats at the Orlando Stadium in games to come.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Riveiro Makes Plea To Bucs Fans After Goal-Fest" story:

"Our defence of Xoki and Sibisi is not strong to create fear from any opponent. We should have won the opening game, but the coach decided against Ndah for no reason. The boy is an international player, with far more experience than Xoki and Sibisi.

"Marou is a very good player going foward, but the coach is destroying him for no reason too. We are facing a real challenge this season, I don't see us going as far as we wish due to to players time/fitness management .#UP THE BUCS," says elijahfyingwane11.

"I just love the exuberance of Mofokeng. What a gem!" says msanisto.

"Coach I can see the high intensity in your team, but discipline is very important again, if we can capitalize on that speed and make sure with our defensive line, then many teams are going to be punished," says Bucs365.

"The way we're defending is not right. Attack wise we are fine but really, we're too open at the back because our wide backs are always very high up.

"We cannot win a cup playing like this. One astute coach will play with two good defensive midfielders and two quick strikers. Then we'll concede many goals," replies msanisto.

"Relax coach, we coming to eSgodini. Keep playing like this and concede less," says Fela.

"I think our coach should give Buthelezi a chance, both Chaine and Ofori are full of schoolboy errors," says @ThizaK.

"Congratulations to my coach and the Bucs nation but coach don't ever play Hotto in that number 3, we have very good players for that position that's why we lost Saturday. Up the Bucs," says Ghost1.

"Please coach fix the back line that's our weak link. Bring back Ndah or use Maela as a Centre back and rest Xoki," says mandla17.

"Leave the couch alone!! It is his job to coach, and it is your duty to support. We are short of supporters at the stadium!!!" replies lessporalibitso.

"All those GHOST supporters who criticize Lepasa, I want them to support him at the stadium. Orlando township, I don't see you at the stadium, WHY??" says Fair Comment.
